A rich northwest style pale ale. Unfiltered, dry-hopped and staggeringly drinkable. A local favorite.

Hop Rising
Big hop, big malt, big beer. One of the most aggressive beers ever released in Utah, Hop Rising a double India Pale Ale, clocks in at 75 IBU's and 9% alcohol. We use three different malts to create enough flavor to perfectly balance three varieties of hops, then, because we can't help ourselves, we dry-hop it; resulting in an amazing two pounds of hops per barrel! The combination of robust malty flavors and huge hop bitterness provide a well-balanced beer; a hop lover's dream. Double India Pale Ales (Double IPA's) are very strong, very hoppy style of pale beer. Double IPA's typically have alcohol above 7% by volume and 60+ IBU's. First brewed on the west coast by Vinnie Cilurzo in 1994, when he accidently added 50% too much malt to his mash tun, then corrected the mistake by adding 100% more hops - and a Double IPA style was born. One of the fastest growing styles in the craft beer industry, it even has its own festival. The first Double IPA festival at a pub in San Diego featured a dozen total entries, this year's event shut down the street and included 46 Double IPA's.

Acapulco Gold
In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, Squatters first brewed it's version of a Mexican lager in the year 2000. Our Mexican lager is a crisp, clean refreshingly light golden lager that compliments almost any meal. The slight use of flaked corn in the mashing process brings out the authentic Mexican beer flavors one might find in a Corona or Pacifico Clara. Squatters Mexican lager is easy-drinking and served with a lime.

Kindig Weizen
Brewed as a traditional German Krystall Weizen popular in Austria and Germany, apparently named for its brilliantly clear appearance, a Krystall Weizen makes a wonderfully refreshing beer for the hot summer days. Kindig Weizen is made with 55% malted wheat and 45% Pilsner malt and an authentic Weizen yeast strain. The unique characters of the yeast produce phenolic and ester notes which give this light straw-colored filtered wheat beer subtle clove and banana flavors.

Broadway Kölsch
A golden-hued, top fermented (ale) beer produced in the metropolitan area of Bonn-Cologne. Under German law, when it is brewed elsewhere in Germany, the name of the locality must precede the word Kölsch. Kölsch takes its name from German city of Cologne, which is "Köln". Cologne has always been known for its ales they have brewed...they banished lager brewing up to the mid-18th century. Broadway Kölsch has the well-rounded body of ale, its great pilsner and Munich malt characteristics are well balanced by the subtle flavors of Hallertau hops. PROST!

Wit Bier
This refreshing Belgian-style wheat ale is a great lite summer drinking beer. Our wit is brewed with the finest two-row barley and malted wheat. A brewers hand full of Spanish orange peel and yellow coriander is used at the end of the boil to give this authentic Belgian-style wit its delicate citrus finish. Great for hot summer nights on the patio.

Alt & In The Way
This Altbier is brewed in the traditional German old or "alt" style. Full bodied with a malty richness and deep copper color derived from Victory malt and carries a delicate hop aroma. Before lager beer was made (1830's) in Germany, the style was Obergoriger Lageredbier, which means " top-fermented lagered beer". When Western Europe embraced the lager yeast in the middle of the 19th century, Dusseldorf decided to keep brewing their top-fermented beer. Altbier is thus an ale that is aged (lagered) like a lager. Altbier offers a smooth, rounded alternative to sharp, bitter Pilsners.

Orphan Abbey
Deep red in color, this Belgian style ale has a lovely caramel malt background and a soft fruity finish. The authentic Belgian yeast used in fermentation provides this complex ale with its lite clove and banana characteristics, typical of many Belgian ales.

Hop Head Red
Hop Head Red is a medium bodied classic red ale. The bitterness and floral aroma are derived from whole flower Amarillo and Summit hops. So if you like hops you must give this one a try.

Utah Crimson Ale
Utah Crimson Ale is a medium bodied classic red ale. The bitterness and floral aroma are derived from whole flower Cascade and Amarillo hops. Brewed by U. of U. alumnus Jennifer Talley, Utah Crimson Ale salutes our local running Ute's!

Oktoberfest
This 20th Annibrewsary Lager is a traditional German Marzen. Biscuit like character softly blends with notes of light toffee to give this malt driven lager its true Marzen character. German noble hops offer an eloquent balance to the malt complexity and make this medium bodied lager wonderful to enjoy by all. Marzens are often the drink of choice at Oktoberfest celebrated late September to early October. Prost!

Holiday Nut Brown Ale
Brewed to celebrate our first Christmas in 1989. "NBA" is a medium bodied American brown ale, with a light hop aroma, deep rich color and nutty finish. In the U.K. brown ale is generally a bottled product, although some cask-conditioned versions may be found. There are three main types of brown ales: English northern, English southern and American brown ale. Squatters NBA represents the American brown ale style. This style if typically reddish-brown in color, moderately bitter, and the aroma is derived from American hops. Additionally, a nutty, malty caramel sweetness is present. Although maltiness is the dominant flavor and contributes some sweetness, a medium level of bitterness is there to create balance. Pete's Wicked Ale is one of the most well known examples of this style. Before the development of porter, brown ale or a wild ale were combined with a stale beer (waste was not a consideration) and a pale ale and called "threeheads". This beer was consumed mainly by the working class.

Black Forest Schwarzbier
This tasty dark German lager is brewed with Pilsner, Munich, Special B and black malt hopped with 100% German Noble hops. Squatters Schwarzbeir has smooth roast undertones and is lightly hopped, leaving us with a malty delicious lager.

McGrueh's Dry Irish Stout
Contains all the rich, roasted barley flavors of a regular stout but without all the heaviness. McGrueh's is conditioned with nitrogen to give it a thick creamy head and smooth taste.

In 2004, a beer drinking adventure throughout Belgium inspired us to create a Flanders Style Oud Bruin. The quest to share the beauty and deliciousness of Flemish brown sours started off by filling our oak barrels with ale in July of 2008. After 529 days of barrel aging with lactobacillius, pedioccacus and wild yeast, we then kept with tradition by blending aged sour beer with the malty sweetness of a younger beer. 529 is re-fermented in the bottle with champagne yeast, so please pour slowly and enjoy.

Welcome to the biggest beer Squatters Pub Brewery has ever made! A Russian Imperial Stout is one of the most intensely flavored beers a brewer can create. The combination of rich roasted barley, oak, molasses and licorice root combine to create an utterly unique and complex imperial stout experience. We had to mash in twice to get our starting gravity of 27 plato (1.108 specific gravity). We boiled 3.5 hrs to enhance caramelization and used molasses and licorice root at the end of boil. Outer Darkness is aged with oak, has 65 ibu's and bottle conditioned. We hope you have as much fun drinking it as we did making it. Please share with another and drink wisely.
